BMW just launched another variant to its flagship SUV X7 sports activity vehicles, calling it the Dark Shadow Edition.
The X7 in its new shade looks intimidating. Adding to its already hard to resist mammoth-like SUV stance, the X7 in its current skin, shouldn’t come as a surprise when your girlfriend complains. Yes, the X7 Dark Shadow is gorgeous enough to break your bank but will offer you enough luxury and comfort enough to cover and forget those wounds.
BMW have taken their tagline 'sheer driving pleasure' to a whole new level. For doing so BMW has taken an amazing product and made it even more amazing. The name "Dark shadow" lives up to its name, with both the interiors and the exterior set to all black. The exterior is painted in Frozen Arctic Grey metallic shade. Not just that the B, C pillars, ORVMs, and the signature kidney grille have the High gloss Shadowline finish.
What will instantly grab your eyes is the beautifully crafted crystal gearshift knob. In the rare case in which you have forgotten that you are in the limited edition X7, BMW has your back and reminds you exactly why it is so luxurious. BMW has gone a step further to emboss the exact words "Edition Dark Shadow" on the center console. That's some cool attention to detail.
On the interior, you will be welcomed with BMW Merino leather, with the blue Alcantara finish on the roof. Not satisfied yet? Well BMW gives you Nappa leather for the instrument panel, door armrests, and everywhere possible. Also, you will not have to worry about those pesky environmental activists protesting as the cabin is well insulated. Remember they own the Rolls Royce the epitome of luxury. Full marks to BMW for the interior.
However, she is limited to 500 units only, meaning she isn’t available for everyone (classy and filled with attitude, am I right?). This beautiful machine is available in the X7’s M50i variant which can seat 6-7 members depending on your configurations. This finally brings us to her unforgiving heart: The mighty 4.4-litre turbocharged V8, capable of pumping out 530BHP and 553lb-ft of torque. Yes, she is a fast sprinter, going from 0-100kmph in 4.7s. Phew! That's just one swift way to move 2.5 tonnes.
This high-class lady knows her way even while wearing heels of 22-inches M light alloys with a prestigious Jet-black matte finish. Ooh, La La! Good luck explaining to your partner, how this is excusable. Once done you can somber down, while listening to your favorite track on the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound music system with the speakers lighting up and dancing to the beats. That car is a beast, sad to know only 500 units are being made.
